Dear Allie:
This will acknowledge your letter dated March 17 wherein you requested a grant from the Wilkinson Foundation towards the L'Heureux Family Centennial Reunion including the construction of a cairn at the north end of Jackfish Lake to commemorate the post office established there in 1897.
The Wilkinson Foundation Committee is pleased to have approved a grant in the amount of $200.00 for this purpose. Our cheque for same is enclosed herewith.
The Wilkinson Foundation would appreciate it if you would acknowledge this grant in the history book which you are proposing to write and, if practical, on the cairn.
No doubt this will be a significant event in your municipality and we at S.A.R.M. would be very pleased to receive a report on it after it has been held.
Yours truly,
Mrs. L. Wiese,
Secretary,
